Buenos Dias, mio compadres! (I think I'm turning Espanole. I think I'm turning Espanole. I really think so!)
Last week, I mentioned that hubby and I had arrived to Cancun for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We were met by a driver who transported us to our new shangrila and provided me with a beautiful pink Lily (see on the table in picture).
Did I forget to mention that the LeBlanc resort was all-inclusive? Aye-chi-wa-wa! The food was delicious!
Rotisserie. Flambe. Assorted fruits and desserts galore. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Hot tea, whenever I wanted it. A refrigerator filled with soda pop and various candy. A bar loaded with Whisky, Tequila, and Rum. (Why is the Rum always gone? It's at LeBlanc. Pirate!)
As luck would have it, we were there for 8 days!!! Yes, there were plenty of days for fun in the sun! And when hubby got slightly sick (well, more than slightly) there was a light at the end of the tunnel. It came just in time for our Anniversary which we celebrated on the beach with a romantic dinner.
Surf and Turf, dear ones! Champagne. Our own serenade by an excellent clarinet player, who played The Carpenters Close to You.
Ah, so beautiful and unexpected. Imagine it. The peaceful surf cutting against the sand. The melody of a love song wafting upon the ocean breeze. Can you feel the love? Can you imagine you are there? Can you see how the infinity pool appears to go on forever?
LeBlanc Resort in Cancun is a great place for lovers to celebrate their lives together, whether that be weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and so forth. It is also a couples only resort, quiet, reflective and filled with interesting people. (Yes, I did some people watching while I was there. Writer!)
And now I ask you. If you were at LeBlanc with your loved one, which song would you want to be serenaded with?
