  1. I'm reading tax stuff to get things ready to send to my CPA AKA my sister. It's not romantic or exciting at all. I can't wait to get back to my TBR pile.

  2. PM--I should be doing that. Last year, I keyed in all of my wiring expenses as I went and filed the receipts. When it was time to go to the CPA, I should have just had to print it out. Gone. I have no idea where. I had to do it all again. Thank goodness The Guy handles the rest of it or I would have lost that too.

This year, I just filed the receipts and will key it in when we have an appointment.

I'm reading Dune: House Corrino. Yeah, I'm a Dune girl.

  4. Dune. Well. I thought I might be. I read the first one and loved it. I gathered up the rest of them and got snowed in with them. Somewhere along book three I thought, "This man has got to be stopped." But no. They just keep coming, even from beyond the grave. I'm glad for you.

  5. Indeed, his son, Brian, continues to fan the flames known as Dune. I would love to write something that takes the world by storm, even after I have crossed over. What a legacy that would be! Can you imagine the volumes of notes left behind by the likes of Frank Herbert and J. R. R. Tolkien?

Give the series another chance, Jean. Now, if they could just do the work justice with this next film!

  7. Barefoot Blonde, I've downloaded a lot of books to my Nook and can't wait to read them. Mine are all romances though. ;)

PM, Crystal, and Jean, I've got to work on getting my writing expenses ready for taxes too. Note to self: must get a better system to keep up with this as the year goes along.

I haven't read Dune but I loved the movies. :D
