My love of a sheikh battled with my dislike of a secret baby, but when I read the review of this new book I knew that I had to read it as soon as possible. It did not disappoint! Sheikh Adan is everything I want in a hero--arrogant, rugged, and oh so sexy. I also really liked that he admitted to being very confused emotionally at times and that he loved his son so much.

Isabella, our heroine, had followed all the rules and been a good girl, but what that got her was heartache. In fact, she was so heart broken that she seems to have blocked some pretty important things from her memory.
I won't go into all the details so that your reading of this fantastic book won't be spoiled, but I will tell you that it is very, very deserving of the 4.5 stars and Top Pick status from Romantic Times. The book strikes just the right note of hot steamy desert nights filled with sexy encounters, while balancing the emotional struggles the couple is going through as they come to terms with adifficult reality.

I have read it and it is divine. I am pretty sure that Adan looks like Sendhil Ramamurthy, who plays Jai Wilcox on. Cut and paste this. (You owe it to yourself.)

Not sure about my favorite part--there were so many. Maybe their ride together in the desert. Great dialogue and tension.
You are right that the dialogue is snappy!
DeleteI think everybody must know by now I've been eager to get this book. It has been on my wish list ever since I heard Lynn say she was writing a Sheikh book, so much so I even tweeted I was reading it. Lol!

Annie West has written to die for sheikhs as in The Sheikh's Ransomed Bride. Loved that book. Rafiq was fantastic!

DeleteIf the description, and RT Review of "Strangers in the Desert" didn't already make me anxious to read this new Lynn Rae Harris book, the cover art would have grabbed me too. I can't wait to get my hands on it. This will be my first sheikh romance (I can hardly believe that myself!)...Sheikh Adan sounds magnificent, while I like that the heroine, Isabella, is someone that I can identify with myself. :-)
