So Many Books, So Little Time

I don't know about everyone else, but it seems that I have tons of really great looking books to read right now. I purchased several last week then more this week and have even more on my list to purchase soon. It often seems as if I can't find anything that I am in the mood to read. Oh, I read all the time but often it feels unsatisfactory--as if some spark of excitement is missing in me about the books.

Those days appear to be over! I thought I would share some of the books that I am excited about with you. Over my Christmas break I consumed books at a rate that really felt more like a binge, but one I didn't want to end.

I discovered Lora Leigh's Breed Series. I have Bengal's Heart on my night stand. I read the story of the hero's twin brother during the holiday binge and I can't wait to see how this one works out.

I also picked up the first two books in Ms. Leigh's Tempting SEALS series. I bought the first two of the three, which was all my book store had. They look hot and sexy. Just what I need on a cold winter night to warm me up!

On my second trip I purchased The Husband Recipe by Linda Winstead Jones. I like to cook and I would like to have a husband so I decided this might give me the secret ingredient that I have been missing!

I saw The Cowboy's Secret Son by Trish Milburn and almost picked it up but didn't because, well, as everyone knows I hate a secret baby book so imagine my surprise when I got home and read the four star review in Romantic Times. It was all about how great it was I decided that I am going to get it when I go back to the book store. It sounds so interesting that I am going to try to move past my prejudice and give it a chance.

Isn't this beautiful!
On this second trip I tried to purchase a book that isn't out yet but that I am looking forward to with great anticipation, The Winter Palace by Eva Stachniak.

I think my new fascination with romance in Russia began when I read Behind the Palace Walls by the fabulous Lynn Raye Harris. It made me yearn for hot Russian men to warm up the long winter nights.
I am really looking forward to reading all of these new books. I have been thinking about doing a book review at least one Thursday a month and have decided that this is a great time to start that. I am currently reading The Phoenix by Rhonda Nelson and will review it next Thursday. I am really excited about starting this and hope you will enjoy hearing more about some of the books that I am reading.

It is also my hope that you will share books that you are enjoying with us here under the tulip tree!
What book or books are you excited about reading now?
